Teacher of the Week

Mrs. Ros

This week's teacher of the week is one who has dedicated her time and talent to building our elementary science program and STEM initiatives. She is always willing to lend a hand and her guidance in science. Her attention to detail, focus, and ingenuity have been instrumental in the growth of our elementary science program.

Her determination and drive were evident just this Saturday when four of our elementary students were able to display and present their science fair projects at the Miami-Dade County Science Expo. Our students competed with over 50 schools and over 200 students and they all earned bronze and silver medals for their work. This teacher's guidance and encouragement were the key to her student’s success.

She is a team player, who always puts children and their learning first. Whether she is creating an exciting STEM lesson, allowing students the opportunity to “play and learn” in science, infusing technology through Gizmos, incorporating interactive science journals, supporting ELA through Achieve 3000, assisting and participating in the Fairchild challenge, or supporting our many school activities, she does so enthusiastically and with great bulldog pride.

As she prepares our 5th grade students for the State Science Assessment, she is diligent about focusing on science content standards by studying mid-year assessment data and strategically planning focused standard reviews to address areas of need. Her focus on student content mastery and hands-on learning are essential in building students who love and enjoy science.

Her drive, dedication, and enthusiasm are essential to our fifth grade team and our school. She exemplifies our theme, #WeAreBridgePrep, as she always puts kids, our team, and our school first. She is knowledgeable, optimistic, and selfless.

Thank you Mrs. Ros we are lucky that you are a part of our school community. We appreciate all you do for our school, bulldog families, and community alike.
